Beth Salsman brings nearly 25 years of legal experience to Helton Law Firm, with a career spanning both tribal government and private practice. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Bacone College, where she graduated with honors.

Beth began her legal career as a receptionist at a small law firm in Stigler, Oklahoma, before joining David Garrett’s office in 2001. There, she quickly advanced to Senior Personal Injury Specialist. In 2005, Beth transitioned to public service with the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Attorney General’s Office, where she worked for 14 years in a variety of roles. Her work supported attorneys in criminal, traffic, forfeiture, litigation, property, and juvenile deprived matters. She also regularly attended hearings and assisted prosecutors during trials.

From 2012 to 2019, Beth served as Manager of the Citizens Legal Department within the Creek Nation Attorney General’s Office. In that role, she oversaw more than 1,000 legal matters—including probates, powers of attorney, guardianships, and estate planning—while coordinating with 13 attorneys across six counties. Most recently, she has worked in private practice as a Case Manager in the Family Law Division, handling divorce, custody, adoption, guardianship, and paternity cases.

Outside of the office, Beth enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, and their daughter, Brooklyn. She’s a coffee lover, travel enthusiast, and proud softball mom who also enjoys crafting in her free time.
